Confused about the overall size of 12 pockets, if 3 pockets are 18.9 x 7.1 x 6.7 how does that equal 54 x 6 x 28"?
This comes as a set of 36 pockets, not 12 .... there are 12 pieces, each with three pockets. They are to be assembled in 6 rows, each of 6 pockets. The rows are offset from each other by half a pocket. Assume you start with the bottom row - 2 pieces @ 18.9" =37.8" wide. The next row is offset to the right half of a pocket (3.05") - now your out-to-out width is 40.85" +/-. The next row up will be offset back to the left half a pocket so it lines up directly over the first row. Continue like this for the 4th, 5th, and 6th rows. Since each of these rows "nests" into the row below it by a bit over an inch, you end up with an assembled height of about 34" ( 6.7" for the first row plus 5 more rows at about 5.5") and a width of about 41".Sorry for all the math - I had to lay it out on the floor before I could determine the row spacing and the out-to-out width. I actually have two "walls", and I mounted each on a half sheet (4' X 4') of 3/4" exterior grade plywood. This allowed me to easily assemble the wall in the garage then simply bolt it in place with stainless steel lag bolts.
Can the units fit 4 inch pots, so I don't have to repot when I add plants?

does this bring humidity to the wall? anyone know...
If you plant living plants, then it will bring some humidity to the wall, also you need to water the plants, so it will contribute a certain extent of humidity. Thanks, Ted
