If planted outdoors, do the frostproof gardenias survive winter in Washington DC / Maryland (zone 7a: 0°F to 5°F)? I have 10 of frostproof gardenias, in ground - in NOVA. About 20 mins out from DC, planted last spring. Getting the soil right has been the biggest challenge but they did survive their first winter. 7/10 success rate currently.
Help replace - They died, never bloomed, too bad. I'll try them again if they can be replaced. Thank you.
Isn’t it supposed to come with a plant guide and fertilizer? Mine didn’t come with either, not even anything saying what kind of plant it was. Hi, we are so sorry about that. If you could reach out to us via email we'd be happy to send it to you. Google Perfect Plants to find us.
