Aster Milady Mix grows as an annual mix in USDA Zones: 3 - 9 and is heat resistant, thriving in full sun to partial shade areas. This Callistephus is a dwarf variety only reaching 10 inches in height with large 3 inch blue, lilac, rose, scarlet and white blooms from early summer to fall. These small heirloom flowers are very attractive to butterflies and are perfect for sunny borders, gardens, or as a container plant on your porch or patio. Sow these seeds at 3 - 5 seeds per plant and keep moist until germination occurs in 7 - 21 days. Start this Aster seed mix indoors in early spring for transplanting outside after frost danger has passed. Press the seed into the soil and cover thinly. Maintain moisture and a temperature between 60 - 70F. Germination is usually within 21 days. Transplant outdoors 12 inches apart.
