Here are some FAQs answered as statements:

- Fungus gnats are hard-bodied insects, and this insect killer works best on soft-bodied insects. For gnats, it is recommended to use diatomaceous earth and a bacterial insecticide called Bacillus thuringiensis var. Israelensis (B.t. H-14).

- This product should work fine on springtails. They are attracted to fungus and moist environments. You can use a mixture of 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of dish detergent sprayed on them to kill them off.

- If you're not sure what pests you have on your rose bush, it is recommended to blanket spray the entire bush. This product has been successfully used on spider plants and other plants. It is best to spray until the plant is dripping wet and let it dry before bringing it inside.

- Unfortunately, the full list of ingredients is not provided. The product only lists Potassium Salts of Fatty Acids at 1% and other ingredients at 99%. For more information, you can contact the manufacturer at 1-800-257-3379 or visit their website at www.gardensafe.com.

Does it work on springtails?

Hi Kassi! It should work fine. I have not had springtails but the are attracted to fungus and moist environments. Other than changing environment by drying out, that 2 cups of water and 1 tsp of dish detergent sprayed on them is enough to kill them. Good luck! Jason

In the directions: "Spray directly on pests." What if you don't know what you've got, do you blanket spray the entire rose(s) bush?

I use this on my huge spider plant(and all others) after the summer, before I bring it in for the summer. It works!!! Spray it untill the plant is dripping wet from it and then bring it in when it is dry. It does not smell and it is effective. I can not stand spiders on my ceiling in the winter that came off the plants, this takes care of them and other little ickies.
