Frequently Asked Questions:

I have a 5x5 grow tent and plan on growing six medical plants that can get up to 70 inches, should I get the 1200w or 2000w?

This is a great light, but for 6 plants I would use 2 in a 5x5. As the plants grow and shadow each other u will be glad to have 2 of them. I have used this light for 2 grows in a 3x3 and it knocked it out of the park. I usually do 4 plants in my 3x3, I grew 4 blue dream last time and got 44 oz usable product. Didn't do anything special feeding wise and everyone was raving over it. Trust me when I tell you this light is really great, does everything they say it does, plus really loves your plants. You won't be sorry for this purchase. In all truthfulness, this cob led grow light is if anything undervalued. Would have been stoked over the light and grow results even if I had paid $400.00 or more, great product and stand up company. The first thing u will notice is how well built and "sexy", sturdy and strong. Nice matte black metal case, thick strong metal at that. Give this light a shot if u don't think it will work for u return it and get your money back. I'm willing to bet you won't be returning to anything unless it is Amazon for a second one of these lights. Good luck with your choice, and above all.....happy growing.

HOW many of these units can I put in a 4×8 grow tent? Is 4 overkill, as in too much?

I would say 4 (of the 2000w) would be a lot of light. I have been upscaling every month with my 4x8 grow tent. I currently have 2 of the 1200w lights over 11 plants which are only in a 4x5 area. I have a 2000w light coming today and I'll put that in the middle with the two 1200w lights on either side to cover the full tent. I'll update later with light overlap results. As long as the light doesn't feel too hot when you hold it at canopy level, overabundance of light is always better. Hanging the lights too close can result in too much intensity, so the PAR readings from their chart(s) for each hanging height are good references. I plan to hang the 2000w around 24-30 inches while still in the vegetative stage, but I'm close to switching over to bloom in another couple of weeks. Hope this helps. Cheers.

What's the hanging height for these lights (2000w) above the canopy, for veg and flower?

At 59 inches for veg, 47 inches for flower. The height is the light away from the plants.

For the 2000w light - How many of each color LED's are on this light?

Total 105pcs, 17 blue, 80 red, 2 UV, 2 IR, and 4 full spectrum COB.
