Do not boil the stone. Because stones tend to explode when boiled. A good rinse with some of the existing tanks tank water should work fine.
How many pieces does the 10 pound one I want for a 30 gallon tank to make a natural environment with rocks and dry wood
I have a 8.75 Gallon Tank and I fit mostly all of the 10 pounds stones into it. If your going with a 30 Gallon setup you may need at least 25 or 30 pounds. Depends on how much driftwood you use also.
