20 Stalks Lucky Bamboo Bundle

20 Stalks Lucky Bamboo Bundle

Description

The 20 Stalks 4" Lucky Bamboo Bundle is a great choice for those looking for a low-maintenance and beautiful indoor plant.

Lucky Bamboo, although not a real bamboo, is a species of Dracaena. It is commonly known as "FU GUI ZHU" in Chinese, which translates to wealth, richness, power, and honor. This makes it a perfect gift for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, business ventures, anniversaries, parties, or holidays.

According to Fengshui Masters, Lucky Bamboo is recommended for improving positive energy in houses, offices, or buildings. It can be placed in any part of your home or office, including the living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, or reading room. The presence of Lucky Bamboo can help create a peaceful environment, enhance your mood, and even reduce air pollution and noise.

Proper care should be taken to ensure the well-being of Lucky Bamboo. Firstly, it should not be exposed to direct sunlight as it can cause the leaves to turn yellow and potentially result in the plant's death. Additionally, it is essential to keep the roots below water at all times. While tap water can be used, it is advisable to opt for filtered or distilled water if your tap water contains a high volume of fluoride.

When it comes to shipping Lucky Bamboo, it is crucial to consider the temperature. The optimal temperature range for Lucky Bamboo growth is between 60 º F and 100 º F. If exposed to temperatures below 50 º F, the plant may freeze or die. Therefore, it is recommended to provide an address where someone can personally receive the plants to prevent any damage during transit.

The 20 Stalks 4" Lucky Bamboo Bundle includes straight stalks that are 4 feet tall. This size is the most popular and suitable for creating Lucky Bamboo arrangements. The bundle features healthy, green, and beautiful stalks, making it perfect for both fengshui purposes and gifting. Taking care of Lucky Bamboo is simple—just remember to add water regularly and avoid placing the plant in direct sunlight.

Regarding the question of whether you can submerge this plant in a fish tank, I've frequently placed Lucky Bamboo in my fish tanks. The plants seem to thrive! I've only recently had to give up having these beautiful plants in my current tank as my koi becomes obsessed with rooting them up and chasing them (floating) around the tank. The Bamboo may not be specifically made to work in a tank, but I personally feel it is the ideal setting, constant water for the plants, safe for the fish, and they look like an underwater forest. There's no reason not to put them in a tank. I was even told the Bamboo helps the fish, cleans the water, and brings more oxygen. Not sure if it's true, but I've put these plants in my tanks for the last few years and never had a bad reaction with my fish (other than them playing with them.). Give it a whirl, you'll see how beautiful it looks! Good luck! :)

As for the question of how rapidly this plant grows indoors, actually, I purchased mine not too long ago and the leaves are doing nicely and very healthy. I have rocks underneath and 2 inches of water in a glass dish. They prefer indirect but light. Here are a couple of links that you can visit for more information: hunker.com and google.com.

Regarding whether all stalks come with a sprout, in my experience, mine have stalks in the middle, and the outer ones have none!

Lastly, in response to the query about getting bamboo with longer roots, I'm not sure. The ones we have seem to be thriving.
